Branch and Cones Gift Card Holder

Here is the third and last card for my December Card Class. This is actually a little more then a card. It's a Gift Card Holder.

I started with a 12"x12" sheet of white cardstock. I cut it at 5 1/2" .
Then scrore this at 6". I thn like to flip the paper so the next two score marks are on the opposite side of the paper. Score at 4 1/4". Then turn and score the opposite end at 4 1/4".
Now, fold the cardstock in half. The fold each of the ends back. You now have a 4.25" X 5.5 card.
Decorate the entire card before cutting the slit for the gift card.

In the center portion, make a pencil mark 1" from each end and using a die, punch or scissors, cut a slit between each of the pencil marks. Then using a 1" circle punch, punch just a small amount in the center of the slit.  For my card, I actually used the FSJ combination corner rounder and Notch punch.

The front of the card was decorated using the FSJ Cozy Prints and the Branch and Cones Die.

Gnome For The Holidays

I hope you all had a safe and fabulous Thanksgiving.  It's so hard to believe it's that time of the year already.

I wasn't going to make Christmas cards for my December Card Classes, however, I have so many fantastic stamps and Dies from Fun Stampers Journey that I haven't used yet along with so many ideas that I just have to do it anyway.

Here is the first of Three cards my classes will make. Product Links below.

The textured background was made by swiping Pumpkin Bread Ink on the smooth side of the Corrugated Board Embossing Folder and running it through my Platinum 6 machine.

I stamped the small tree from the Sparkle Trim Stamp Set with Kiwi Slice ink and heat embossed it with clear EP.
I then used the Shell design of the Wall Paper Stencil and Oatmeal Cookie Ink to very lightly sponge color through it to resemble wall paper behind the tree.

I stamped one of the Gnomes from the Gnome For The Holidays Stamp Set with Black Licorice Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I positioned him next to the tree and cut off his feet.

I took my roll of foam tape and cut long super skinny pieces of it to fit behind the window frame and molding pieces.

The Sentiment was stamped in Dark Roast ink and heat embossed with clear Embossing powder then cut out and lightly sponged with Pumpkin Bread Ink.

The tree in lower right corner is from the Gnome stamp set and was stamped with Kiwi slice ink onto green Olive cardstock and also heat embossed with Clear EP.

After all was assembled, I attached the smallest fashion gold pearls to the tree.

Joy to the World Poinsettia Card

Here is the third and last card for my November Card Class.

For this card, I started with the Vintage Notes Background Stamp using Oatmeal Cookie Ink. I then swiped the edges with the Clear Pigment pad and added Gold embossing Powder and Heated.

The other piece on the background is a piece of Gold Mirror Cardstock and embossed with the Inspire Embossing Folder

Joy to the World is from the Holiday Joy Stamp Set and was stamped with Clear Pigment Ink and Gold Embossing Powder.  It was stamped onto a matching Die from the Special Days Tag Dies

The Pine sprigs behind the Poinsettia are from the Branches and Cones Die Set.
The Poinsettia is from the Christmas Sprig Stamp Set and colored with Copic Markers.  I stamped, colored and cut out an extra two layers of the Poinsettia and layered with Journey Foam Squares

Stay Wild Fall Any Occasion Card

Here is the second of 3 cards for my November Card Class.

This was such a fun card to make. I used the FSJ Barn Wall Embossing Folder with Hazelnut Cardstock for the background. The Base Card is Butter Cream Cardstock

The oval with the image was created with my Gel Press and Liquid Colors. I love the FSJ Gel Press becasue the size is 8.5" X 11" so you can do a whole sheet of cardstock at the same time. FSJ also has an awesome 6" brayer that perfect for this Gel Press.

After adding the colors you want for the background, I stamped the Stay Wild Stamp with Dark Roast Ink. I used my Misti for this so I could stamp it twice for a darker look. I then embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder to make it POP.

I used Journey Ovals Die and Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Oval Large Dies
I cut out the Pine Sprigs from the Branch and Cones Die in Kiwi Slice CS, The Cones in Oatmeal Cookie CS and backed it with Hazelnut Blend CS and cut it out.
The leaves are Cut using the Pretty Leaves Die Set in Citrus Cooler and Pumpkin Bread Cardstock

Now, just put it all together and add a Pumpkin Patch Ribbon Bow.

Wise Men Still Seek Him

Here is the first of three cards for my November Card Class.

This card was made using the "Adore Him" Stamps and Die Set from Fun Stampers Journey.

This is a Center Side Step Card using using Buttercream Cardstock for the base and Black Licorice Cardstock for the panels.

The images were stamped using Clear Pigment Ink and Heat Embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

Sky was splattered with Whip Cream Silk to simulate stars. However, Sparkle Silk would work fine for this also.

Fashion Gold Pearls were used for the embellishments in bottom right corner and center of Star.

Merry Christmas Gnome

Here is the third card from my October Card Class.

This card was made using the FSJ Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set.
Colors are Cranberry Bliss, Oatmeal Cookie, and Hazelnut Blend Cardstocks.

I finished off the card with a Cocoa Powder Gingham Bow

I tried to keep this card as simple as possible for my class since the first two were more time consuming. You can see those cards in the two previous posts.

I stamped my own background with a snowflake that comes with the set.

The Sentiment is from a retired Mummy ATS.

The background was made using then Trees from the Designer Series Stencils. I used the purple and gray from the Mother Nature Pan Pastels and sponged over the stencil.
